Ardent Lighting Group L.L.C. in cooperation with ReliaPOLE Inspection Service Company  can also assist with pole safety and inspections. RISC utilizes the latest in visual and non-destructive testing. RISC's fully trained and certified inspection teams use a combination of visual and Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle testing in order to provide the most comprehensive results. Ultrasonic scanning is  used to measure wall thickness of the pole shaft for determination of metal loss and both Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) testing can be utilized  for non-destructive evaluation of welds and locating weld defects. They can also be used to locate cracks in steel due to fatigue related issues.
